On Campus Housing Options
Each hall offers its residents quality social, cultural, educational, and recreational programs throughout the year. Programs include educational workshops, films, and guest speakers. While living on campus, you will have the opportunity to enrich your lifestyle as you associate with students of different cultures, races, and religious beliefs. Campus activities are available through more than 200 registered student organizations, and include a weekly film series and a successful athletic program.
The University of Houston provides a quality education as well as excellent facilities for making residential living ideal for developing lasting friendships, exploring new ideas, and experiencing new activities. Since 1950, Residential Life and Housing has provided quality campus living for UH students.
Rooms at the University of Houston dormitories are available on a limited basis for the September and January sessions and must be reserved well in advance of arrival. More rooms are available for the May and June sessions. A meal plan at the dormitory cafeterias is required as part of all accommodation packages on campus except the graduate student housing unit.

Cougar Place

Cougar Place is a garden environment complex designed for graduate
and professional students seeking apartment-style living that offers
the convenience and safety of residing on campus at an affordable price.
The 400-unit complex contains two-room suites with individual patios.
Each unit is fully furnished with bed, desk and chair, bookshelves,
drawers, closet, and built-in cabinet.
Moody Towers

Moody Towers is the largest complex of the residence halls and accommodates more than 1,100 students. The two 17-story buildings are adjoined by a main lobby, the Commons. The Towers also share a cafeteria that offers a menu with a variety of cuisines. The majority of the rooms house two occupants. Single rooms are limited to upper-level and graduate students. A community bathroom is located on each floor. Mail service, faxing, photocopying, change, and laundry token services are provided.
Quadrangle

The Quadrangle (Quad) houses approximately 800 students in five coed halls: Bates, Law, Oberholtzer (OB), Settegast, and Taub. Students reside in four-person suites equipped with a private bath. Residents can arrange furniture to suit their needs. The Quad furnishes limited hours desk assistance in the central building, OB Hall. The OB Service Center provides mail service, faxing, photocopying, change, laundry tokens, board (meal plan) card replacement, check cashing, and more.
Calhoun Lofts

Calhoun Lofts is the University of Houstons’
newest residential facility offers loft-style living with an urban feel that caters to the mature and serious student at the
city’s premier metropolitan university. Experience the convenience of being on campus with the style of city living at its best.
